HaiBella App

The HaiBella app improves your conversational skills and vocabulary effectively through engaging conversations with enhanced features and smart vocabulary tracking. HaiBella strives to make learning from self-created conversations easier and more effective than any other app. This is achieved through common features like translations and pronunciation, and unique features like HaiBella's smart AI vocab capture from translated and corrected messages in each conversation. 

 

Unlike Duolingo and other apps that teach slow and repetitive lessons, HaiBella allows you to talk about anything and review vocabulary unique to your conversations and language skills. This is most analogous to how kids learn, through conversing with others and having their words corrected.

Data Collection and Storage

  • HaiBella stores recent conversation data locally on your device using UserDefaults so you can review your recent chats

  • We do not maintain backend servers or databases that store your personal information

Third-Party AI Services

  • To power our chatbot features, we transmit your conversation messages to third-party AI providers (OpenAI's ChatGPT API and Google's Gemini API)

  • These providers process your messages according to their own privacy policies and data retention practices

Third-Party Data Retention

  • While we don't store your data on our servers, OpenAI and Google may temporarily store and process your conversations as described in their policies

Your Rights

  • You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app
